OK, so you've read this far! Great! I must be doing something right! My name is..well...Clare Rutter and I am 19 years old at the moment, my ambitions are to become a RMP (Royal Military Police) in the Army and to go to live and work in Australia. I live in West Wales,in the UK, for those of you who don't know where that is, it's the little piece joined to the left hand side of England. I live near a little town called Cardigan, it's quite nice really, it has everything you need except a Mcdonalds (although that's debatable as to whether that's actually needed!) My town is a good town for sightseeing, there is a lot of history to this town, actually the first Welsh Eisteddfod (large welsh music festival) was held here, in Cardigan Castle. There are many gorgeous, safe and sandy beaches nearby and there are lots of shops and great campsites, most with a spectacular sea view. There are loads of hills and mountains nearby to climb or just have a picnic near and the famous Pembrokeshire Coastal path which is over 180 miles long which is used by beginners to more advanced walkers. Basically it's a great place to live and the beaches are gorgeous! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I have many interests, mainly Scouting, I am a member of the 3rd Cardigan Sea Scout Group, and I am also an adult leader with my groups Cub Scouts, my Cub Scout Leader nickname is BALOO THE BEAR. | I am the Chairperson of the Venture Scout Unit and we are nick named 'The Leeky Dragons' (being Welsh!) and we do some great stuff. Some of the stuff that we have done in the past are ski-ing, abseiling, canoing, hiking and prussicking. We do some great hiking and camping, the most memorable camp being in the freezing cold at Christmas in the mountains which we are now doing every Christmas Time! Other interests of mine include theatre/acting. Our last production which I was in was 'Curtain Up on Murder' it was very successful and proved a great hit with the audience, for this years Christmas Pantomime we are doing Dick Whittington am I am playing the part of Dick which is if you don't know, the principal boy. So if you are in the area, come on down!!! It only costs �4 for adults and �3 for children. So Theatre Mwldan is the place to be this Christmas/New Millenium!!! I also like to swim and I do a lot of cycling too, I enjoy going out on my body board in the summer down on one of the beaches. There is a lot to do in Ceredigion if you like sport and sightseeing, if you're after well known, expensive clothes, shops, then you're in the wrong place!
